THE JOURNEY TO THE BOOK

After 35 years working as a nurse, midwife and teacher, I founded Plum Parenting to give support to parents desperate for help. In the 20 years since then I've been providing one-on-one education and mentoring for parents, caregivers and teachers, both in person and online, throughout Aotearoa New Zealand and worldwide. During this period the concepts, language and method of delivery of this work have been honed. Each and every adult and child in my practice has contributed a strand to this theory and the consequent interventions that have been frequently described as a ‘game-changer’ and ‘life-changing’. Now at last, at the urging of my clients, here is the book!
